Close your eyes a moment and imagine late spring or summer and you are walking outside in the sunshine and suddenly the heavenly scent of flowers drifts by you on the breeze. It gives you a sensation of delight and you find yourself humming an “mmmm” sound. That is what this soap is like.

Here in northern Utah there are many wild rose bushes out there. They have the most beautiful little flowers that are a perfect pink. When dried down they become a deeper rose color. Last early summer I was foraging for plants for some herbal preperations when I found the perfect Rosa rugosa. I knew I needed to included them in a soap.

This soap is infused with geranium essential oil and topped with the wild foraged roses. It’s the perfect soap for welcoming spring time and summer!

Soap Ingredients:

Olive oil, coconut oil, water, almond oil, castor oil, lye (sodium hydroxide)*, geranium essential oil, rose buds, madder root powder, rosemary leaf extract

*- no lye remains after the saponification process.
