Hello!

Welcome to the Nettlesome Life. I document my adventures in herbal soap making, growing food, foraging for wild edibles and making things by hand. Hope you have a nice stay!

Fall Soaps are Back in Stock!

Fall Soaps are Back in Stock!

Fall scented soaps are back!

I know you’ve all been waiting so long, a year practically to smell the amazing “Autumn Afternoon” soap again. The combination of clove and nutmeg is so soothing and comforting. Like the smell of a baking pumpkin pie. This is my most popular soap. It sells out with in a few weeks every single time.

“All Hallows Clean” Sweet Orange & Anise Soap

New to the collection is “All Hallows Clean” A spooky mix of sweet orange and anise that is reminiscent of candy skulls. Let the combination of charcoal and annato swirls mesmerize you. This a small batch and is selling out fast!

“Mulled Cider” Ginger, Cinnamon & Clove Soap

Also back this season is mulled cider. If you purchased it last year you may notice it looks a little different. I’ve tweeked the recipe a bit to all sea buckthorn powder. It adds a beautiful rusty red cider color to the soap. Otherwise it’s the same yummy trip to the orchard on a cold morning scent you enjoyed last year.

It’s impossible to choose which one I want to use more! If you have a favorite, let me know in the comment below !
