Festival Time
This past weekend I got out of the studio and into the world. At 5 am with help from a dedicated team of friends and family, I set up my booth for the Ogden Marathon Finishline Festival. After months of preparation, I was not sure what to expect. They said upwards of 10,000 people would be walking through the event area. Between the runners, their friends and family and the event staff it was a mad house. But it ended up being super fun!
I really enjoyed meeting local customers and so many new faces. Who knew so many people would love handcrafted soap as much as I do?
The most popular soaps were “The Nettlesome” (sold out), “The Traveler”, “The Herbalist”, “The Char-mer” and “Rose & Chocolate”. I’ve updated the website as I brought my whole stock of soap with me. With 10,000+ people walking around who knows how many bars of soap I might have sold.
I set up my smelling/free sample/hand washing testing station. That was quite a popular feature for people who just could not decide.
In the next month I will be making lots of soap to update the shop as many things were sold out. Look for new earth tone wash cloths, your favorite soaps and that new version of Summer Days and sage smudge sticks.
Have a great day!
