"The Climber" Copaiba Soap
"The Climber" Copaiba Soap
In Utah, the mountains are always calling. Whether it’s hiking, trail running, or climbing there is always a reason to be outside. This soap is called “The Climber” because it reminds me of the color of the boulders and cliffs near me that all the climbers hangout on day and night. It’s scented with copaiba and cedar to give it an earthy sweet smell, reminiscent of the desert after the rain.
Copaifera officinalis is a tree from South America. It has an earthy sweet aroma.
This soap is perfect for hands, hair, and body. With simple, plant ingredients, this soap has a wonderful lather and will get your hands clean and smelling bright. You can also use it to wash laundry or dishes and for use off-grid.
Soap Ingredients:
Olive oil, coconut oil, distilled water, almond oil, castor oil, lye (sodium hydroxide)*, Copaiba essential oil, cedarwood essential oil, yellow dock powder **, cocoa powder, rosemary leaf extract
*- no lye remains after the saponification process.
**- there is a very small amount of yellow dock to give it that speckled color.
Note about handcrafted soap:
My soaps are made in small batches so your bar may vary from the picture shown. Each bar is hand cut from the loaf so the weight may vary a tiny amount between bars.
